Today I felt invisible.
I love taking shots of people. People doing what they’re doing. What seems ordinary to them and fascinating to me.
I usually get caught. I smile awkwardly and laugh and hope they smile back. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. But today, nobody noticed.
It was as if I had become a regular fixture in their lives, no longer noticing the excitement that comes with something new; maybe it was because they felt the same way I’m beginning to feel. Normal. Accustomed back to Korea. The excitement begins to fade. Again.
