The best Kimbop Chunguk (kimbop heaven- it’s a restaurant) in Korea, as far as I’m concerned.

More than anything else, I missed the doenjang jigae (mung bean tofu soup) from this Kimbop Chunguk. After the soup, I missed the workers.

We have never known one another’s names, but know one another’s faces well. I ate here nearly every day in 2009; it was the best place to practice what I’d learned the previous day in Korean class.

So yesterday, my first meal back, we had a mini reunion. They remember me. I’ll probably buy them a Christmas gift.
