During an hour break from class, I walked around the school’s neighborhood and asked people to make funny faces, while I shot video.

Some said yes, many said no.

Although it always went unrecorded,  the best part was watching them as their smile and laughter grew, while they read the note that my friend had translated into Korean for me, explaining what I wanted them to do:
Pretend that…
Your friend gave you a lot of money
You just saw a car accident
You walked into your surprise birthday party
etc etc etc.
