I like to travel as minimalist as possible. The same goes for the gear I use. The lighter the better. The more discrete the better. Check out what I use for filming, editing, packing, and health insurance.

Technology Travel Favorites
Technology is constantly changing and evolving, but these are my travel favorites and must-haves for creating content and staying connected in the most minimal way.
DJI OM 5
For solo travelers and video makers, this is your best friend. It’s a selfie stick, and tripod all in one, plus much more!

Saramonic Blink 500 Mic
I don’t like to stand out when I’m traveling, but I still want that quality sound. This mic is subtle and attaches to my clothes easily, but is not too obvious. (Make sure to select iphone or Android)
DJI Mavic Mini
This small, lightweight drone is easy to carry with you on short trips, and long trips alike. Keep it in the case, or put it in your pocket. However, if I were to do it again, I would get the Mini 2 instead.

Cowin Headphones
These are soft, comfortable, blue tooth, noise canceling!
Macbook Adapter
I love this since it sits so snugly to the computer, I don’t have a bunch of extra wires, and it works for connecting to tons of items.

Luggage and Bags
Luggage and bags are easy to come by, but finding the right ones are difficult. These are my must-have bags and luggage choices for hiking and travel.

Carry-on Luggage
I did a ton of research before purchasing this and I am absolutely in love. This is the best carry-on luggage I’ve ever used. I named mine Roy.
Packing Cubes
These cubes make packing so much better. I get a lot of packing anxiety, but feeling organized really helps me out a lot.

Cotopaxi Allpa 35L
I’m in love with this backpack, absolutely one of my best travel purchases. It’s perfect for a weekend trip, and fits easily in the overhead compartment. It even has a side storage for your laptop. It came with me on the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. Not only is this bag super sturdy, but the company motto is one I can get behind.
Cotopaxi Tote
This tote back is perfect for one day hikes. You can convert it from a side to a backpack super easily. Has convenient pockets and compartments. Super light material makes it easy to bring along.

Tortuga Outbreaker
This bag from Tortuga is on my dream travel check list. I don’t own it yet, but one day it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine. Strong, durable, and so many compartments.
Topo Designs Mountain Pack
I love to support my fellow Coloradans, and I’m proud to support Topo Designs. Love the durability, and color schemes of all their products.

Application Must-Haves
As someone who works on the go, these application must-haves help make my life, and job travel friendly!

Premiere Pro
This editing program, by far, has been the most intuitive I’ve ever used. Now that I’ve found Adobe, I’ll never go back to anything else.
Epidemic Sound
Ever since I started using Epidemic Sound (foley & music) for my YouTube videos, I’ll never go back to the basic library again.

Tubebuddy
If you want to improve your YouTube experience, check out TubeBuddy which simplifies things a LOT!
Safety Wing
Better to be safe than sorry! Besides, a lot of countries require health insurance for entry! This is the company I always use.

Banking Travel Favorites
When traveling abroad and banking, some of these travel favorites when it comes to banks, cards, and bonuses will help make your life much easier.

Chase Sapphire Visa
Travel better with flight miles and bonus points! Earn 80,000 bonus points with Chase Sapphire Preferred. I can be rewarded as well.
Chase Southwest Visa

Western Union
Especially if you’re traveling in Argentina, having a Western Union account is more than a travel favorites, it is an absolute must. You’ll always get the best blue rate here! If you sign up using this link, we’ll both get a $20 Amazon gift card as long as you transfer more than $100 within 30 days!
Get an E-sim
In the next few years, we’re going to see the extinction of the physical sim card. For example, the new iPhone 14 doesn’t even have a sim card tray and will only operate with an e-sim. The e-sim is going to make travel so much easier by being able to switch between country sims with a simple tap on an app. Click here and get $3 off when you sign up.
