THE BEST ROOFTOPS IN BUENOS AIRES

Reading Time: 7 minutes

Buenos Aires boasts some of the most spectacular views in the world from its many rooftop vantage points. What better way to enjoy a summer sunset in the City of Fury than with a glass of wine overlooking the many domes of this spectacular city? This post will introduce you to the best rooftops in Buenos Aires.

Dome Rooftop Bar

Dome Rooftop Bar is one of the best rooftops in Buenos Aires, located in the heart of the city, just a block from the Congreso building (and Plaza Congreso). Dome Rooftop Bar the perfect spot to enjoy a night out with friends or a romantic evening with a loved one. The bar serves great cocktails, various beer and wine options, and even fresh lemonade. As far as food options go, there aren’t exactly main dinner plates, but several smaller tapa sized portions, perfect for sharing. I’ve been a few times and was always impressed with the flavors.

My favorite dishes are:
Grilled Aubergine
Tiny Veggie Burgers
Potatoes with Four Cheeses
Chard Bites

Location:
Inside the Tango Hotel de Mayo
Av. de Mayo 1396, B1406 CABA, Argentina

The Florida 165 Rooftop Cafe in Guemes Gallery is a charming oasis in the heart of Buenos Aires’ downtown area, just off of Calle Florida. Located on the 6th floor of the iconic Guemes Gallery building, the cafe offers close-up views of the city’s architecture and nearby domes, as well as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. The cafe has a Miami in the off season atmosphere, with eclectic decor and outdoor seating surrounded by plants and art. The menu features a variety of drinks and light bites, including coffee, tea, pastries, and lunch options. It’s not the best view to see the entire city skyline, but it is a great view to see the city’s architecture up close. I think this is one of the best rooftops in Buenos Aires because it makes you feel like you’re right in the center of everything.

Florida 165, B1602 CABA, Argentina

Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day of work or enjoy a night out with friends, Trade Sky Bar is the perfect spot for a luxurious rooftop experience. Just note that people dress nicely there, so plan ahead so you don’t feel out of place. This is easily one of the best rooftops in Buenos Aires as it is the perfect location for sunset.

The cafe has a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, with outdoor seating surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful flowers. The menu features a variety of drinks and light bites, including Argentine wine, craft beers, and traditional empanadas. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a unique rooftop experience, the Rooftop Cafe in Palacio Barolo is a must-visit destination in Buenos Aires.
